Explore Niobrara, Celebrate America’s 250th
Our primary focus is to host a variety of interconnected history events countywide that showcase our local history and its connection to our national heritage. We plan to use an extensive array of QR codes and video recordings to capture this local knowledge and preserve it for education, public accessibility, and research beyond this celebration period. Public events featuring local historians and community elders will accompany the installation of the QR codes in various locations throughout Niobrara County.
